Call for Artists

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) invites artists and designers worldwide to participate in our largest community celebration of the year!

This open call warmly invites Black artists and designers to submit pieces that honor Dr. King’s lasting legacy. We’re looking for powerful pieces that emphasize themes of unity, justice, and the transformative role of Black art in advancing cultural diversity and social justice.

The selected work will be showcased during our MLK Day celebration and used across MoAD's marketing promotions, merchandise, and collateral—uniting MoAD supporters, community members, and art enthusiasts in honoring Dr. King's vision of hope and equality.
