About

Get ready for the Get Down— a celebration of solidarity hosted by Berkeley Rep and the Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD)! Start the evening in style with a vibrant performance from Oakland-based country and Americana singer-songwriter Miko Marks, discover offerings from Black and Brown-owned businesses, and enjoy delicious light bites alongside tastings from Theopolis Vineyards in our Narsai M. David Courtyard—all before the 8pm showing of Mexodus, a hip-hop musical that narrates the lesser-known story of the Underground Railroad leading south into Mexico. Keep the energy going and join us after the show at Michael's Second Act Bar and get down with DJ Wonway Posibul. Doors open at 6:45pm. This event is free and open to everyone. Admission to the evening's performance of Mexodus requires a ticket. Click here to get your tickets to Mexodus with a 50% discount!

About Mexodus
