Third Thursdays in Yerba Buena.

At 6:30pm in the MoAD Salon, We’re Staying: Poetry with Sounds of Resistance and Celebration is part of Teju Adisa-Farrar’s “We’re Staying” series via her work through World Unwrapped. This evening of poetry and sounds focuses on resistance and celebration across the African Diaspora. Featuring the songstress Tsedal Tesfahun, Teju explores the importance of staying as it is manifested in the historical and contemporary reality of the African diaspora.

Be sure to pick up a sticker at MoAD for special Third Thursday all-night happy hours at participating bars and restaurants. The third Thursday of each month in downtown San Francisco’s Yerba Buena neighborhood will be a monthly outing full of arts, food, and drink! Wander the blocks around Yerba Buena Gardens to soak in art and music.
