Don’t miss the second annual MLK Celebration featuring performances by Emily King, Goapele, Tongo Eisen-Martin, Minister Marvin White, the Glide Ensemble, and Sangin’ Sara & James P. Smith. FREEDOM, JUSTICE, AND BELOVED COMMUNITY: A CELEBRATION OF DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. will be held live at San Francisco's Herbst Theatre and promises an inspirational evening to kick off a week of MLK ‘23 celebration events in San Francisco.

NorCal MLK is a public charitable organization dedicated to helping unlock the promise in every person through programs and events that advance civil and human rights; promote social, economic, and environmental justice; support health, wellness, and preparedness; and increase the joys of learning. The San Francisco Human Rights Commission advocates for human and civil rights, and works in service of the City’s anti-discrimination laws to further racial solidarity, equity, and healing.
