Join us for a lecture & demonstration with David Boyce of Broun Fellinis on Monk's Saxophonists: Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane, Johnny Griffin and Charlie Rouse. Boyce will discuss the collaboration between Thelonious Monk and these four masters of the tenor saxophone, demonstrating his own talent on the tenor sax, as well!

David Boyce is a tenor saxophonist, music educator and founding member of the renowned post modern jazz trio Broun Fellinis. He performs regularly in the Bay Area with a variety of musical ensembles playing everything from straight ahead jazz to RnB/Soul to Experimental improv.
