About SFPL Storytime

Vicky Lam is the children’s librarian at the North Beach Branch Library, where she enjoys creating a welcoming and interactive space for young readers. She organizes engaging storytimes, fun activities, and introduces children to a wide range of books that encourage exploration and learning. Vicky is passionate about fostering a love for reading and making the library a place where children can discover new worlds and ideas.

About Michelle Yi Martin

Michelle Yi Martin is a multi-disciplinary artist based in San Francisco. Her practice is rooted in the progressive traditions of the Bauhaus and Black Mountain College. In this spirit, she continues as an educator—weaving history, literature, and the arts with her students.

The Institute of Contemporary Art San Francisco (ICA SF) is a non-collecting art museum that offers artists from around the world an opportunity to push boundaries, experiment with new ideas, and take risks. We believe in the power of art to explore the most critical social, political, and cultural questions of our time and are committed to expanding the art historical canon of the future. Building upon the lessons learned in our early start-up years, ICA SF remains continuously “under construction,” embracing a nimbleness rarely found in art institutions. We seek to make contemporary art relevant and meaningful for all audiences. Admission is always free.
